My coaching philosophy

If you are at a point in your running journey where you want to get the most out of your available training time to reach your running goals, I am here to help you do that.
I thought long and hard about making some generic plans to help people with their running journey. But I couldn’t justify making plans that would never be a true fit to a runner, just to make some extra money. I would not feel comfortable with a plan being purchased by someone and then they are left on their own with so
many questions left unanswered. I also believe this would lead to more
disappointment than enjoyment for many of the people purchasing a plan. If this
is something you feel would work for you at this stage of your running journey,
there are already many plans and information out there to help you along the
way.
Coaching to me is so much more than a plan. It involves me getting to know you as a runner and as a person so that I can provide the best training for you and your needs/lifestyle. That way, you can truly make the most of the time you have available to train in your life. In the end, I will always make a plan, but a plan is just a guideline. It will need to be adapted as and when needed to keep you progressing how you want to.
I specialise in training for the marathon and half-marathon. These are the distances that I have had most success with training myself, but also clients, from helping them complete their first marathon to more advanced runners completing the marathon in under 3 hours.
As well as that, I specialise in working with clients who have a busy schedul,e such as DJs or people working in nightlife. I have also balanced my training with enjoying nightlife, so I understand how to make that work.
If you are unsure what is right for you at this moment, then you can always contact me and I will give my advice on your current situation. Any other questions are always welcome.
